|
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of job coaching for work plan and performance by using a smartphone on the independence and accuracy of design work for three people with autism spectrum disorders(ASD). Their target behavior was design working. The job coaching was supported by using a smartphone as a work plan and performance. This study used multiple baseline design across subject with three participants. The results of this study are as follows: job coaching with using a smartphone for work plan and performance can improve the independence and accuracy of design work for adults with ASD at their workplace, and improved independence and accuracy of design work can be maintained. The results for the study emphasized the necessity of job coaching for adults with ASD, the importance of increasing employment opportunities in various areas of the job. Based on the results, further research directions and implications for job coaching for people with ASD were provided.
